Watch Sudanese-Australian beauty Adut Akech share bulletproof nighttime regimen

Sudanese-Australian beauty Adut Akech shares the bulletproof nighttime regimen that keeps her skin healthy and glowing.

Adut Akech is havign a very busy 2018 walking the runways from Tom Ford to Max Mara and Saint Laurent.

Makeup after makeup for each shows can definitely take a toll on one’s complexion. “Traveling so much really, really dries out my skin!” confesses the Sudanese-Australian beauty. It’s very important to get all the makeup from your face.”

For this, she uses the bulletproof nighttime regimen.

Process as reported on Vogue:

She starts by soaking a cotton round in French drugstore mainstay Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water before wiping away every last bit of pigment and oil.

After a thorough cleanse and letting a few quick-fire mists of toning rosewater sink in, she applies single drops of Organic Doctor Rose Otto Facial Serum to the center of the forehead and along the tops of her pyramid cheekbones, before blending it all over the face.

“Serums are very, very important because they lock the moisture into your skin,” she adds before lightly tapping a different supercharged elixir into the under-eye area with her ring finger “because it is the most gentle” of them all.

She then massages Asarai’s featherweight Ultralight Moisture Cream into her visage. “It’s from Australia, just like me!” she grins. And the hometown love doesn’t end there—next up is a swipe of Lucas Papaw ointment, an Australian beauty balm and cult sensation she stocks up on whenever she’s Down Under.

The final step? Smoothing Wild Growth Hair Oil along her hairline and over her cornrows. “If you’re somebody with Afro hair and you’re trying to grow out your edges, this is really, really good,” she says.

And with that, Akech is off to bed looking impossibly fresh—REM not required.
